How easy is it to install in a vehicle

Teltonika GPS is designed for quick and easy installation. In practice, basic installation can be completed in 10–30 minutes, as long as there is access to the vehicle's power supply.
The process is almost the same as other trackers in the same Teltonika series, with the main advantage that it has built-in GNSS and GSM/LTE antennas, so no additional equipment or external antenna is required.

Why installation is considered easy

  • Minimal cables required
Only two connections are required for basic operation:
Red cable → +10–30V power supply from the vehicle
    Black cable → ground (chassis)
  • Small and slim size
With a thickness of about 12 mm, it can be easily placed behind the dashboard or in narrow spaces of the vehicle.
  • Internal battery
Includes a small backup battery to continue working for a while longer if the power is disconnected.
  • Optional connections
There are additional cables (e.g. for ignition, sensors or immobilizer), but they are not necessary for basic operation.

Basic installation steps

  • Insert Micro-SIM into the device.
  • Power connection
Red wire → positive voltage (e.g. fuse box)
    Black wire → chassis ground.
  • (Optional) connect yellow wire to ignition for ignition detection.
  • Place the device behind the dashboard or under plastic parts, with the logo facing up for better GPS signal.
